Privacy Policy

Our free apps — Hangman, Sink It!, Code Breaker, Slide Blocks, and N Arrow Escape — collect no personal data whatsoever. No accounts, no tracking, nothing sent to us or anyone else. A few games ask for a device permission to power a specific feature (see below), but that is never used to collect or transmit your data.
Looking ahead: Future apps may be paid, require accounts, or collect certain data to provide their features. Each such app will clearly disclose exactly what it collects — and this policy will be updated to reflect it before launch.

01 About This Policy
This Privacy Policy applies to all Android applications developed and published by Octey Apps (a brand of JEH Electronics) on the Google Play Store.
By downloading or using any of our applications, you agree to the terms described in this policy. JEH Electronics is registered in Idaho, USA.
02 Current Free Apps — No Data Collected
Our free applications — Hangman, Sink It!, Code Breaker, Slide Blocks, and N Arrow Escape — do not collect, request, store, transmit, or share any personal information of any kind, including:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other identifiers
- Location data or GPS coordinates
- Device identifiers or advertising IDs
- Usage analytics, crash reports, or behavioral tracking
- Financial or payment information
- Photos, media, contacts, or files from your device
Any game data such as scores or settings is stored locally on your device only and is never transmitted anywhere.
03 Device Permissions
A couple of our games ask for a device permission so they can offer an optional feature. These permissions are used only for the feature described, and never to collect, store, or transmit personal data. Each game works fine even if you decline.
- Slide Blocks — Camera: requested only if you choose to scan a shared puzzle's QR code. Scanning is handled entirely on your device by Google Play Services; no photos or video are taken, saved, or sent anywhere. You can play the whole game — and still share or import puzzles using a short text code — without ever granting camera access.
- N Arrow Escape — no camera permission at all: this game can scan a QR code to import a shared level, but it never asks for camera access. The scan is performed by Google Play Services in its own window, so the game itself never receives camera images. Nothing is photographed, saved, or sent anywhere, and you can share and import levels with a short text code instead.
- Sink It! — Bluetooth & Wi-Fi Direct: requested only to connect two nearby devices for local head-to-head multiplayer. They are used solely to pass game information — such as ship placements and shots — directly between the two players' devices. No personal data is exchanged, and nothing passes through us or any server, because there are no servers. On some older Android versions, the system itself requires a location permission before an app may scan for nearby Wi-Fi Direct or Bluetooth devices; Sink It! requests it only for that purpose — to find the other player's device — and never uses it to determine, record, or share your actual location.
The QR-scanning component used by Slide Blocks and N Arrow Escape (Google's on-device scanner) also declares standard network permissions for its own use. The games themselves make no network connections of their own, other than opening our website in your browser if you tap a link.
04 Future Paid Apps & Apps That Collect Data
As our catalog grows, we may release applications that are paid, offer in-app purchases, require user accounts, or collect certain data to deliver their features. When that happens:
- This privacy policy will be updated with a dedicated section for that app before it launches
- The app's Google Play Store listing will clearly state what data it collects
- Data collection will be limited to what is necessary to provide the app's features
- Users will be informed within the app before any data is collected
Payment processing: For paid apps or in-app purchases, all transactions are handled by Google Play. Octey Apps does not receive or store your payment card details. Google's handling of payment data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
05 How We May Use Data (Future Apps)
For any future app that collects personal data, that data may be used solely to:
- Provide, operate, and improve the app's features
- Manage user accounts and authenticate access
- Respond to support requests or user feedback
- Send important notices related to the app, such as policy updates
We will never sell personal data to third parties. We will never use personal data for advertising purposes without explicit user consent.
06 Third-Party Services
Our current free apps do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection SDKs.
Future apps may integrate third-party services such as authentication providers or cloud storage. Any such integrations will be disclosed in that app's specific section of this policy when added.
The Google Play Store may collect information about your device and app usage in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. This is outside our control.
07 Children's Privacy
Our current games are designed for the whole family including young children. Because our current apps collect no personal data from anyone, they comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.
For any future app that may be used by children under 13, we will take additional steps to ensure COPPA compliance, including obtaining verifiable parental consent before collecting any personal information.
08 Data Retention & Deletion
For our current free apps, no personal data is retained by us because none is collected.
For any future app that collects personal data, we will retain that data only as long as necessary to provide the app's services or as required by law. Users will have the ability to request deletion of their account and associated data, consistent with Google Play's requirements.
09 Data Security
For our current free apps, there is no personal data on our servers to protect. Game data stored locally on your device is subject to your Android device's own security features.
For any future app that stores personal data on our servers, we will implement industry-standard security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data involved.
10 Changes to This Policy
We will update this Privacy Policy when we release new apps, change our data practices, or when required by law. The Effective Date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
For material changes — such as a new app beginning to collect personal data — we will provide clear notice within the affected application before the change takes effect. Continued use of our applications after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
